Gallo Ref3 speakers enjoy a loyal following. One of the tweaks many like to add to their
speakers is a custom stand. The stand lifts the speaker off of the floor adding to its bass
response and bringing the high and midrange notes to a more comfortable listening level. Our
stands fit this bill without breaking the bank. The standard stand we make measures 6" tall x 14"
deep x 8" wide. We drill a hole at the top for sand fill and four holes one inch from the corners
which line up with the spike receptacles on the bottom of the speakers. Customers mate the
speaker to the stand many different ways. Some use adhesive to make a permanent
attachment, while others simply place the speakers on the stands. The most popular option,
and the reason for the holes at the corners, is to connect a bolt to the spike receptacle and place
these bolts into the holes after the stand is filled with sand. Whichever method you use, the
stands are very versatile and easy to adapt to your needs. We make the stands with 3/4" mdf and
they are rock solid. Other options include feet for the bottom of the stand. These can be
purchased from many different sources. I can order and install them for you for additional cost.
